Bombay Beach Tour:

We start the tour off with meeting at Shields Day Garden to grab a date shake or coffee for the road.

Did you know California has an inland sea? It was once a tourist attraction more popular than Yosemite.

We’ll explore the bizarre ghost town of Bombay Beach, once a famed resort frequented by the rat pack, now turned new art mecca and dubbed a ‘permanent Burning Man’ by the New York Times. Salton Sea is the only environmental accident visible from space and nobody wanted to be there but some artists and filmmakers that started the Bombay Beach Biennale. It became so popular they had to stop advertising the date because too much of the LA art crowd was coming out to see it.

Lunch at the world famous Ski Inn, the lowest bar in the Eastern Hemisphere, where we dare you to try fish straight from the Salton Sea.

For the very adventurous, add on Salvation Mountain and Slab City for a full day adventure.
